Magnet
Magnets used in the food and grain industries are heavy-duty permanent magnetic separators installed above storage tanks or processing machinery. Their primary function is to capture and remove ferrous (iron) impurities from the material stream before it reaches grinding or processing equipment, thereby protecting machinery and ensuring product quality.
Types of Magnets:
- Online Magnet (SS Make) – Installed within the pipeline for continuous removal of iron particles during material flow. Made of stainless steel for durability and hygiene.
- Hopper Magnet – Placed inside or above hoppers to remove iron contaminants as material passes through by gravity.
